18 PEOPLE TRAPPED, ONE DEAD, AS 4-STOREY BUILDING COLLAPSES IN ABUJA




No fewer than 18 people are reportedly trapped under the rubble of a four-storey building which collapsed at Jabi area of Abuja on Friday.
The building is said to have caved in around 1.30pm.
The building which was under construction when it collapsed had over 25 people inside, Punch reports.
Rescue officials were said to have rescued about six persons while a corpse has been evacuated.
However, the heavy rain has also hampered rescue operations.
